We help athletes balance sports with life.
The Virago Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and wellness community dedicated to enhancing the mental and emotional well-being of women’s sports athletes. Founded and led by former pros, we understand the intense demands of competitive sports and recognize the critical need for greater balance and mental health support within athletic spaces. Through community workshops, transformative group experiences, and storytelling, we challenge athletes to prioritize their total well-being and embrace their identity beyond the game.

Testimonials
-
Roger Williams University Field Hockey
"We were fortunate enough to have a Team Talk hosted by The Virago Project! Our chat focused on self-care, motivation, and confidence. Taylor did an excellent job encouraging our players to chat about success, failure, and our mental well being when coping with stress. I received numerous text messages from my players after the Team Talk saying how refreshing the conversation was!"

Stanford University Women's Rowing
"I can’t tell you how much we appreciate Taylor and The Virago Project coming and taking the time to speak and work with us. We always say that if we make a positive difference in one athlete a day during this time we are doing a great job, and I know they made such a difference in the women who were able to come. Thank you for taking the time to help us process some big feelings and emotions!"

Thank you SO much for talking with the team! The girls felt so upbeat and positive afterwards and it was so great for me to see them share all the things they like about themselves. The Virago Project is amazing and I will definitely continue to recommend to other coaches!
